I find that when TV shows go on breaks, I will somehow find another TV Show to watch and occupy my time with instead of working... or revising... See this past Christmas break I was supposed to revise, and not watch any TV shows since they were all on breaks. But then I go and start another TV show because I couldn't help myself and... well... I needed to find something else to occupy my time with!!!<br /><br />When all the TV shows return from their hiatus's, I find that I would have added more shows to my 'TV show list' ... and this accumulates and becomes a long list of TV Shows that I watch (: sigh. I should really try to stop myself. But I can't help it! Watching TV Shows is like escaping reality... into this fantasy world where you have your ideal prince's or princess's, with exciting stories... rather than boring old revision for exams... It can also take the pressure off, like a relaxation sorta thing where you stop worrying about exams and forget all about that for 40 mins or so and just be immersed in this wholee other world.<br /><br />See right now, I'm supposed to be revising. But I am very tempted to carry on watching Supernatural, another show I just started the other day. I think that brings my list of TV Shows I watch to nearly 20. It's not just for a short while, but for the whole day too! And I find it pretty annoying that these construction workers can start early in the morning at like 9, and wake you up, and don't stop work till 7 in the evening. How many hours is that? like 10!! TEN EFFING HOURS OF NOISE POLLUTION. If it's not the drilling, its the hammering, or their shouting. It bugs me really.<br /><br />Plus, they sometimes listen to the radio loudly and I am indoors i can still hear their radio! To try to drain out the noise from the construction going on, I have tried to blast my tv up loud on MTV, but somehow it didn't seem to really work as well as i wished. I could still hear the drilling.<br /><br />And these construction workers don't even stop work at 7, they carry on working past 7! Supposedly it's against the law or something, i don't know. But seriously? It's so late! They 'try' to be quiet but you can still hear their hammering. Once, they were even driling past 7. What is with construction workers. Oh and did i mention they were working on New Years? The 1st of Jan 2009? When it's like.. a public holiday? Seriously are they really that hardworking? I mean, a week or two before that the house was just torn down n they hardly came by to work on it... and all of a sudden they burst into frantic work mode? sersiously!<br /><br />I bet these kind of construction workers are partly the reason why neighbour nowadays are unfriendly. They already piss off the neighbours of the house owners for you before they even move in!
